What is Counterfeit Money?

Counterfeit Money is an independent streetwear label based in Toronto, Canada. We make limited-run garments — embroidered zip hoodies, screen-printed denim, and embroidered hats — built around the question “what’s real?” The name is deliberately provocative: it is a question about value and authenticity, not a description of our products. Everything we sell is original, designed and detailed in-house.

Where is Counterfeit Money based, and where do you ship from?

What does Counterfeit Money sell?

Our core range includes heavyweight embroidered zip hoodies in 600 GSM cotton, relaxed straight-leg denim jeans with screen-printed dollar-sign graphics and Urdu script, and all-over embroidered snapback hats. Pieces are produced in limited runs and restocked occasionally.

How do your sizes fit?

Our denim is cut as a relaxed straight-leg through the seat and thigh. The Peacekeeper zip hoodie is a boxy, unisex fit. If you prefer a slimmer look, size down; for an oversized fit, size up. Each product page lists the available sizes — reach out if you would like specific measurements before ordering.

What materials are your garments made from?

Our denim is 100% cotton. The Peacekeeper zip hoodie is heavyweight 600 GSM cotton. Graphics are screen-printed or embroidered directly onto the garment.

How should I care for my Counterfeit Money pieces?

Machine wash cold, inside out, and hang dry to preserve the screen-printed and embroidered details. Avoid tumble drying printed pieces.

Are items limited, and will sold-out pieces restock?
